watching scream

























i'm watching scream so i drew a scream mask and almost passed out from sharpie fumes.
Does anyone know the history of the "scream" mask? did they exist before the movie?
is the mask or the movie inspired at all by the painting?

    The mask is definitely inspired by the painting.
